Kasargod: Accident Takes Away Life of Endosulfan-affected Boy

Kasargod, Dec 9: In an accident which occurred at Poovadka in Mulleria in the district, a boy who was suffering from the adverse affects of endosulfan use was killed. He has been identified as A N Aneesh (11), son of Kishna and Leelavati couple from Mulleria Gadigudde.


The boy was being taken by his parents to a physician, when the accident occurred. The auto rickshaw, in which the three were moving in, was hit by a mini truck which reportedly was being driven recklessly. The boy, who suffered grievous injuries, was taken to a hospital in Mangalore for treatment. However, he did not respond to treatments and breathed his last some time thereafter, it is learnt.

    Sad indeed I get upset when I read a Road traffic accident death on paper ALl accidents are preventable Why are our drivers so reckless Feeling sad at the incident.
