Visionary members like L V Amin, B R Poonja, and Narayana Shetty have significantly contributed to our progress. Let us continue to work together and elevate the association,” said Sujatha R Shetty, president of Kannada Sangha Santacruz.

Sujatha Shetty made these remarks at the 67th Annual General Meeting (AGM) of Kannada Sangha Santacruz, held on Thursday evening at Billava Bhavana auditorium, Santacruz East.

Honorary president L V Amin, vice president Doddaguthu Bujanga R Shetty, honorary chief secretary Jaya V Poojary, honorary treasurer Sudhakar Ucchil, and honorary joint secretaries Chandrahasa J Kotian and Bannanje Ravindra Avin were present on the dais.

The 2024 Scholarship Program and annual financial aid distribution for students were inaugurated by president Sujatha R Shetty, who lit the ceremonial lamp. Other dignitaries on the dais, including L V Amin, Doddaguthu Bujanga R Shetty, and advisory committee member Boja N Shetty, distributed the financial assistance to students.

Addressing the gathering, L V Amin said, “We need to inspire the younger generation to join our organization. Their active participation will ensure a strong future. Adding new members will further strengthen both the association and the community.”

Members of the executive committee, including Suma M Poojary, Shalini J Shetty, Vanita Y Nonda, Laxmi N Kotian, and others, were in attendance.

The event began with a prayer sung by social and cultural committee secretary Lakshmi N Kotian. Honorary treasurer Sudhakar Ucchil presented the balance sheet for the previous year, while honorary chief secretary Jaya V Poojary welcomed the attendees and read the AGM report.
