Udupi: Nethra Jyothi Institution inaugurates its new building

Udupi, Nov 9: The inauguration and the blessing ceremony for the new building of the Netra Jyoti Institute of Allied Health Sciences, Netra Joyti Paramedical Sciences College, Netra Joyti College at Badagabettu, Kinnimulky took place on November 8.

Pejavara matha Swamiji, Vishwaprasanna Thirtha swamiji, blessed and inaugurated the new building and extended his heartfelt wishes for the success of social service efforts from the Netra Jyothi hospital. He said that the gift of vision granted by God offers divine view of the world. He acknowledged Dr Krishna Prasad's service to Krishnaanugraha through his eye hospital and remarked on the dedication displayed. He expressed hope that his experience would serve as a strong foundation bringing honour to the state and the nation through the hospital's achievements in the medical field.

Soma Bhai Modi, head of the Sarvoday Seva Trust, Gujarat stated that eye treatments and donations could help eliminate blindness. He expressed his hope that this organization's services would extend globally to benefit the community.

Dr Kalladka Prabhakar Bhatt, president of Puttur Vivekananda educational society, mentioned that Netra Jyothi hospital has made significant contributions to the community through its achievements in eye donation and encouraged the organization to continue its dedicated work.

The event witnessed the presence of MLA Suresh Shetty Gurme; MLC Dr Dhananjay Sarji; MP Kota Srinivasa Poojary; former MLA Raghupati Bhatt; renowned psychiatrist, Dr P V Bhandari; founder of G Shankar family trust, G Shankar; astrologer Kabyadi Jayaram Acharya; KPCC secretary MA Gafur; MLA Yashpal Suvarna; city council president, Prabhakar Poojary; council members, Vijay Poojary, Amrita Krishnamurthy; businessman Udayakumar Shetty and trustee of Netra Jyothi Trust, K Kananda Raghuram Rao, managing director Dr Rashmi Krishnaprasad, Shashidhar Thanadi were present on the occasion.

Dr Krishna Prasad Kudlu welcomed the guest, COO Gauri gave the vote of thanks and Dr Vijayendra compered the event.
