Mangaluru: Mulki police arrest theft accused absconding for three years

Mangaluru, Nov 9: Mulki police have arrested a theft case accused who had been absconding for the past three years.

The accused, Suresh Poojary (52), a resident of Attur in Karkala, was apprehended in Savalanga, Davanagere district. He has been remanded to judicial custody by the Moodbidri court.

Suresh Poojary faces multiple theft charges registered across police stations in Dharmasthala, Beltangady, Udupi City, Hebri, Shirva, Hiriyadka, Padubidri, Karkala City, Davanagere Rural, and Maharashtra.

The operation was led by Police Inspector Vidhyadhar D Bykerikar, along with SI Anita, and head constables Udaya and Jayaram J.
