Muhurat of Tulu movie ‘Pilipanja’ held at Kateel Temple

Mangaluru, Nov 9: The muhurat of the upcoming Tulu movie ‘Pilipanja’ was held at the Kateel Sri Durga Parameshwari Temple on Wednesday, November 6.

The movie is presented by SB Group and produced under the banner of Shiana Production House. The muhurat ceremony was blessed by temple priest Sri Ananthaprasada Asrana.

Tulu film director Vijay Kumar Kodialbail and Umanath Poojary were the chief guests at the event, officially marking the beginning of the shoot by performing the traditional camera switch-on and ceremonial clap.

Pilipanja is directed by Bharath Shetty and produced by Pratheek Poojary. The team includes executive producer Ramesh Rai Kukkuvali, director of Dharmadaiva Nithin Rai Kukkuvali, Sharmila Umanath, Bindiya Pratheek, choreographer Rajesh Kannur, cinematographer Uday Ballal, assistant directors Akshath Vitla and Shajeesh Poojary, dialogue writer Suresh Vitla, among others.

Notable cast members include Prakash Shetty Dharmanagara, actress Disha Rani, Vijayahari Rai Kuriya, Bhaskar Manipal, and action director Suresh Shetty.

The shooting is scheduled to begin on November 7 in and around Mangaluru. Additional cast members include Ramesh Rai Kukkuvali, Bojaraj Vamanjoor, Ravi Ramakunja, Sundar Rai Mandara, Shiva Prakash Poonja, Rakshan Madoor, Roopashree Vorkady, Radhika Jayasheela, Dayananda Rai Bettampady, Praveen Kodakkal, Ranjan Bolar, and others.
