Udupi, Nov 9: “Prathibha Sinchana” was held at St Mary’s English Medium School, Kannarpady in the school premises on November 9.
Joshal Sweeda D’Souza, classical vocal trainer, singer and actor, inaugurated the event and in her note said, “Talent is natural wealth that every child carries, which becomes better and bright with right opportunities, support and encouragement. I congratulate the school management for organising this programme, providing students to showcase their talent and will nurture the creative potential in them. Recognizing your skill is the first step to your success, must we mostly fail to recognize our own skills and talent. Next step is learning and practicing every day, we cannot expect success without practice. And last step is patience, it is okay if you fail in the first step and also in the 100th step, but patience is most important. None of us are born with experiences. Let us dream big, give wings to our dream and fly. I strongly believe that programmes like these will strengthen the wings and make them fly higher and higher. Use talents to become successful and help others to become successful.”
Fr Charles Menezes, correspondent, said, “Our school provides a platform to everyone to showcase their talent. All students must make use of the opportunities provided by school. We don’t believe in making perfect, we believe in giving opportunity. Future is not good marks, job and salary, future is, are you satisfied in your life with what you have. "Prathibha Sinchana" is one wonderful opportunity the school provides. Spread the vibrance you have and become successful.”
