Saddened by the passing of Mr. Boniface Pinto, whom I fondly called 'Manager Uncle.' He was always there to encourage me during the elocution contests organized by the Konkani Natak Sabha, listening to my speeches and offering his warm smile and congratulations afterward. His kindness and support meant so much to me. Rest in peace, Manager Uncle. Heartfelt condolences to his family and all who cherished him.

A gentleman and friendly person has left it's always painful.  I recall  Mr.Pinto whom I met several times and also to get information on KNS and DB Hall, both premier Konkani Cultural pioneers. His knowledge and desire to share were of noble proportions and enthused me much - he made a lasting impression . His respectful attitude and pleasant personality and smile is an indelible memory. A friendly manner always ready to give you time that is rare today....  The Almighty embraces him in the great paradise and showers blessings of consolation on all his near and  dear. Death is extinguishing the lamp because the dawn has come, just another side of the same coin that is life.
