Mangaluru: ICYM Bajjodi unit organizes aquatic adventures 'UDHKA KELA DHABHAZHO 2024'

Mangaluru, Nov 11: Infant mary church, Indian catholic youth movement Bajjodi organized an aquatic adventure day 'UDHKA KELA DHABHAZHO 2024', an interward aqua games on Sunday November 10th afternoon.

The event started with showcase of team spirit and enthusiasm march past. Prayer song was led by ICYM members. Welcome speech was given by unit president Cliyon D’Silva.

Inauguration of the event was done by parish priest Fr Dominic vas, assistant ICYM director Fr Pranam Fernandes, Fr Cyril Menezes, PPC vice president Prakash Saldhana, secretary Elizabeth Pereira, ICYM animators Sachin Menezes and Seema Carlo.

Parish priest wished all the participants to have sportsmen spirit and have a fun filled day followed by water games. Seven wards and 77 kids and almost 130 adults participated in this event. Eleven water games were conducted. The ward members performed extremely well and tried to make their ward win. The event went on smoothly with the cooperation of all the participants.

Fr Dominic vas firstly congratulated the ICYM team for organizing this event in a great way and for all the dedication

The valedictory programme started with vote of thanks by Anush Fernandes. The prize distribution ceremony was conducted by ICYM animator Sachin Menezes. With this the event came to an end with the Baila and rain dance. The programme was compered by Ashton Mascarenhas.
