Beltangady: Bangalore Techie Loses Life while Trekking

Beltangady, Dec 11: A Techie who had arrived from Bangalore here to the Bandaje waterfalls for Trekking died on Saturday December 10.

The deceased is Kiran, son of Jayanthi from Bangalore. He was working as a software engineer in a private firm in Bangalore.

Kiran had come along with a team of 19 members for trekking. While they were on their way towards the waterfalls one of them had sent a message to the known person that one of the member is critically ill. After that there was no mobile network available in the region. Hours later they received a news that he had breathed his last.

The Beltangady police and fire officials rushed to the spot. As there was no means of communication at the region it unable to reach on time and provide immediate treatment to Kiran.
