Beltangady: Young kabaddi player passes away due to illness

Beltangady, Nov 13: Chinmay Gowda P K (18), a second-year PU arts student of Ujire college, passed away on November 12 due to an illness.

Originally hailing from Mandya, Chinmay was staying in the college hostel and was enrolled at a private college in Ujire. A talented kabaddi player, he had won numerous accolades for his college team.

Chinmay had been suffering from health issues for the past few days and was receiving treatment at a private hospital in Mandya.

Unfortunately, despite medical efforts, he passed away on Tuesday. He is survived by his parents.
