CSI Lombard Memorial College of Nursing organises 'Sayonara' Fresher’s Day, farewell programme

Udupi, Nov 14: CSI Lombard Memorial College of Nursing organized 'Sayonara', the farewell and Freshers Day celebration on November 12 in Snehalaya Auditorium. On this occasion, all the students at Lombard Memorial College of nursing welcomed the 6th batch and bid farewell to the 2nd batch of BSc nursing students.

Chief guest Dr Susheel Jathanna managing director was accompanied by Dr Suja Karkada, principal College of Nursing, Dr Narayan Perlaya, vice principal, Paramedical College and Allied Health Sciences and HOD of Microbiology, Dr Roshan Pais, principal Paramedical College and Allied Health Sciences, Rachel D’Silva, chaplain, and Veena Menezes, principal of School of Nursing and nursing superintendent of Lombard Memorial Hospital.

Rachel D’Silva Esther and the team led the prayer and the prayer song. Anugraha from 2nd semester welcomed the gathering. Dr Susheel Jathanna in his presidential address motivated all the students and encouraged students to come forward to exhibit their talents. Seldon and Lavanya shared their experience of 4 years in LMH. Malathi class co-ordinator of the outgoing batch shared her memories with the students. Dr Suja Karkada shared her thoughts of inspiration for the outgoing students and the freshers. Revathi from 3rd year BSc nursing conveyed a vote of thanks.

Keith and Danica of the 2nd Semester mastered the ceremony. The programme concluded with a grand cultural programme by the students.
