This case has been registered under Crime No. 159/2024 at Kavoor Police Station, with charges including sections 66(2), 66(2)(2), 308(2), and 381(4) of the BNS Act.
In a related case of stock market fraud, two more accused, Sahil K P and Muhammad Nashath R, were arrested in Kozhikode, Kerala, for defrauding victims of approximately Rs 90 lacs by promising high returns from stock investments. They were arrested from Koyilandy and brought into custody, facing charges under sections 66(C), 66(D) of the IT Act, and 318(4), 3(5) of the BNS Act.
The arrests were made under the guidance of Anupam Agrawal, IPS, Police Commissioner of Mangaluru, with support from Siddharth Goyal, IPS, DCP (Law & Order), and Dinesh Kumar, (Crime & Traffic). The operation was led by Srikanth K, ACP (Mangaluru North sub-division), and executed by Raghavendra Byndoor, Police Inspector of Kavoor Police Station, along with his team.
