Puttur: Accenture IT company selects 12 students from St Philomena College

Puttur, Nov 22: Multinational IT company Accenture, selected 12 final-year undergraduate and postgraduate students of St Philomena 12 final-year undergraduate and postgraduate students of St Philomena Autonomous College through its campus recruitment process.

Two months ago, Accenture initiated its campus recruitment drive at the College, attracting widespread participation. The selection process began with a written test conducted in two batches, which shortlisted over 30 students for the subsequent stages. These shortlisted candidates underwent communication assessments and interviews, leading to the final selection of 12 students who were issued Letters of Intent. It has been conveyed that appointment letters will be provided after document verification.

Nishmith SR, Skanda SN, Melisha D’Souza, Jeevan Kumar, TR Anusha Bhargavi, Havyas U, and Sahana Deepti from the third-year BCA programme, Chaman Praveen from the third-year BBA programme, Simran Taj and Havyashree from the final-year B Com programme, Tanvi M Rai, a final-year postgraduate student from the department of Physics are the selected students.

Expressing his delight over this accomplishment, the principal of St Philomena College, Dr Antony Prakash Monteiro, said, “It gives me immense pleasure to announce that 12 of our talented students have been selected in the Accenture placement drive conducted recently. This significant milestone is a testament to the hard work and dedication of our students, coupled with the quality of education imparted at our institution.
