Puttur, Nov 22: The department of business administration at St Philomena College organized a vibrant and engaging event titled ‘Foodiepreneur’ on November 20. The programme aimed to kindle entrepreneurial aspirations among students while emphasizing the importance of hard work and seizing opportunities.
The event was graced by Vijith Shetty, the guest of honour, who delivered an inspiring address on the pillars of success vision, hard work, and perseverance. Sharing his wisdom, he remarked, “Success will follow you when you continue to strive and seize every opportunity that comes your way.”
Presiding over the function, Dr Antony Prakash Monteiro, principal of the college, emphasized the unique potential within each student. He encouraged them to embrace their individuality and leverage their capabilities to carve out a path of success. “Each young mind carries a unique potential, and nurturing it with hard work and dedication is the key to success,” he emphasized.
Dr Radhakrishna Gowda, head of the department of business administration, welcomed the gathering. The event was coordinated by Abhishek Suvarna, the staff coordinator. Pushpa N, convener of the management association, Prashanth Rai, Manoj, president of the management association, and Sagar A, student coordinator, were present on the dais. The event was compered by Chaman, III BBA, and the vote of thanks was delivered by Shishika, II BBA.
Adding to the celebration, students who triumphed in the intra-departmental fest 'Srusti-2024' were honored with trophies during the event.
