Mangalore: Patient Commits Suicide in Hospital

Mangalore, Dec 14: A youth, who had been admitted into a private nursing home in Karangalpady here, committed suicide by hanging himself in the hospital on the night of Monday December 12.

He has been identified as Sunil (24) from Meramajalu in Arkula village. Since the last some days, he was being treated in this hospital. Using the opportunity when those who were with him had ventured outside, Sunil locked the door of the room from inside, before hanging himself.

A case was registered in Kadri police station in this connection. Investigation has been taken up.
