Udupi, Nov 28: The 14th Maxim Nite live musical concert, organized by president Jackson D'Souza and members of the Indian Catholic Youth Movement (ICYM), Perampalli, with the generous support of Francis D'Souza from Dubai-Perampalli and Sunil Mathias from Kuwait-Perampalli, took place on November 27, at the Perampalli church school grounds, coinciding with the annual church feast.

The concert was a tremendous success, drawing a massive crowd of music lovers from within Perampalli and beyond. The event, packed to capacity, reflected the widespread enthusiasm and admiration for Maxim Pereira and his team.

The evening began promptly at 6:30 PM with an inspiring opening address by Fr. Vishal Lobo, the parish priest. This was followed by impressive performances from young talents in Perampalli. Melisha Ancita D'Souza proudly introduced Maxim Pereira & team to the eagerly awaiting audience.

From 7 PM onwards, Sheldon Crasta took over as the host, seamlessly guiding the event alongside the Gmajor Team Glorious Angelore. The concert featured a diverse mix of music, blending Maxim Pereira's superhit Konkani songs with popular Tulu, Hindi, and Kannada songs, catering to the local Tulu-speaking audience. The stage came alive with performances from well-known singers from Mangalore, including Joshal D'Souza, Velita Lobo, Derick Machado, and Joyson Fernandes, who delivered melodious and energetic sets. The Urban Groov dance troupe added to the excitement with their dynamic dance numbers, while the comedy team Thelikeda Tammana had the audience in splits with their rib-tickling humor. A special mention goes to Kumar Malpe, who expertly managed the sound and lighting for the entire event.

The success of this remarkable evening was made possible by the support of main sponsors, Francis D'Souza, proprietor of FRENICA MARINE in Dubai, and Sunil Mathias from Kuwait. Heartfelt gratitude also goes to co-sponsors Adarsh Bakery, Ambagilu, Thomas Mascarenhas from Mumbai, Pramod Diana Mascarenhas from Perampalli, and Stephen D'Silva from Parkala.
