Padubidri, Dec 1: Prashant Kamat (52), a sales manager at Brite Flex Industrial Unit in Kanjarakatte near Padubidri, has been reported missing. On November 28, Kamat informed his colleagues that he was heading to the company's Mangaluru office but has not been seen since.
Kamat briefly visited the Kanjarakatte unit that day, leaving within five minutes. When company officials contacted his home, it was confirmed he had not returned there either. He is known to suffer from diabetes and a heart condition, and his mobile phone is switched off.
Kamat is described as 5 feet 4 inches tall and was last seen wearing blue jeans and a dark blue shirt. Anyone with information about his whereabouts is requested to contact the Padubidri police station at 0820-2555452.
