Kasargod: Heavy rains forecast – Holiday declared

Kasargod, Dec 2: Deputy commissioner (DC) K Impashekhar has announced a holiday for educational institutions in the district on Tuesday, December 3, following a red alert and heavy rain forecast issued by the IMD.

The holiday applies to professional colleges, tuition centers, Anganwadis, and Madrasas. However, as per the DC's order, it does not include Model Residential Schools.

Heavy rains have been lashing the district since Monday afternoon. The IMD has predicted that the rains will continue for the next two days.
