Bengaluru: Tentative timetable for SSLC, second PU exams 2024 announced

Bengaluru, Dec 3: The Karnataka State Examination and Assessment Board (KSEAB) has released the tentative timetables for the SSLC and Second PU examinations for the academic year 2024-25.

The SSLC exams will commence on Thursday, March 20, and conclude on Wednesday, April 2. The Second PU exams will begin on Saturday, March 1, and end on Wednesday, March 19.

The tentative timetable will be displayed on notice boards in all schools and colleges. Students, parents, and the public can submit objections to KSEAB by December 16, 2024.

Tentative SSLC Timetable:

• March 20 – First Languages (including Kannada)
• March 22 – Social Science
• March 24 – Kannada, English (Second Language)
• March 27 – Mathematics, Sociology
• March 29 – Third Languages (including Hindi, Sanskrit, Kannada, Tulu, Konkani, English) and NSQF subjects
• April 1 – JTS Subjects, Economics
• April 2 – Science, Political Science, Hindustani, Carnatic Music

Note:
1. Music exams will start at 2 PM; all other exams begin at 10 AM.
2. The First Language exam carries a maximum of 100 marks; other subjects are for 80 marks, and NSQF subjects are for 60 marks.

Tentative Second PU Timetable:

• March 1 – Kannada, Arabic
• March 3 – Mathematics, Education, Philosophy, Business Studies
• March 4 – Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam, Marathi, Urdu, Sanskrit, French
• March 5 – Political Science, Statistics
• March 7 – History, Physics
• March 8 – Hindi
• March 10 – Optional Kannada, Accountancy, Geology, Home Science
• March 12 – Psychology, Chemistry, Algebra
• March 13 – Economics
• March 15 – English
• March 17 – Geography, Biology
• March 18 – Sociology, Electronics, Computer Science
• March 19 – Hindustani Music, NSQF Subjects

Note: All exams will start at 10 AM.
