Bantwal, Dec 3: Renowned multilingual actor and director Upendra visited the Vanadurga Temple near Modankap in Bantwal Mood village of Bantwal taluk on Tuesday afternoon and offered prayers.

Upendra performed the Sarvankara Seve at the temple, seeking the success of his latest film UI, which he has directed and acted in.

He was accompanied by the film's producer Srikanth and music director Veluhari Naveen Manohar. Rajesh Bhat shared insights about the temple's unique pond during the visit.

After the noon puja, the group partook in the temple's Annadana Prasada (free meal) and proceeded to Mangaluru. Guru Dutt Shenai and Pandurang Shenai of Modankap Vanadurga Temple were also present on the occasion.
