Mangalore: St Sebastian Higher Primary School Celebrates Annual Day

Mangalore, Dec 18: St Sebastian Higher Primary School founded 103 years ago celebrated its annual day here at St Sebastian Platinum Jubilee Hall, Bendur on Friday December 16.

The school was established to serve the weaker section of the society, students hail from rural and poor families, who are usually daily wagers.

Sr Rose Celine BS the secretary of the Bethany Educational Society in her presidential work said that the students are given best facilities as provided to the St Theresa English Medium School run in the same campus. She also said that the school has preserved the charisma of founder to shape the overall personality of students.

The school runs on the generosity of many donors, well-wishers and members of School Betterment Committee, who are mostly alumni of the school.

Fr Antony Serao the Parish priest of St Sebastian Church, Steavan Pinto, Murali Krishna P, vice president of School Betterment committee Dr E V S Maben and superior of the Bethany Convent Sr Shubha B were also present.
