Yenepoya School of Allied health sciences celebrates Human Rights Day

Mangaluru, Dec 13: A significant initiative was undertaken by NSS unit 4, 6 & 10 at Yenepoya School of Allied Health Sciences (YSAHS), Mudipu, and Naringana campuses, where 250 students successfully registered with the National Human Rights Commission (NHRC) on December 10.

This activity was organized to foster awareness about human rights and to instill a sense of responsibility and commitment among the students towards upholding these fundamental values.

The event commenced with a briefing on the importance of the NHRC and its role in safeguarding human rights across the nation.

Students were guided through the registration process, emphasizing the importance of being active participants in promoting and protecting human rights within their communities. Following the registration, the students collectively took a solemn pledge to uphold and respect the dignity and rights of every individual.
