Udupi: Senior cricket sponsor Raja Kodancha passes away

Udupi, Dec 16: Raja Kodancha (47), a prominent cricket sponsor and well-known supporter of local cricket teams, passed away due to a heart attack early on the morning of December 16.

Raja Kodancha resident of Alevoor had been an ardent supporter of cricket in the region for over 30 years.

He generously sponsored teams such as Cricket Alevoor Friends, Bedinagudde Friends Udupi, Akash Alevoor, and SFC-Maithri Cricketers.

He is survived by his wife and two children.

The sudden demise of Raja Kodancha has left the cricketing community and his well-wishers in deep sorrow.
