Srinivas University students gain hands-on experience in passenger cruise hospitality services

Media Release

Mangaluru, Dec 16: On December 10, students from Srinivas University's BBA port shipping and logistics management programme at the Institute of Port Shipping and Logistics Management Srinivas University were assigned to assist with Silver Whisper's passenger cruise hospitality services at the New Mangalore Port Authority (NMPA) in Mangaluru.

As part of their experiential learning, they worked closely with the customs and immigration department.

The students also had the unique opportunity to tour the cruise ship, where they received a comprehensive overview of its operations and facilities. This hands-on experience provided valuable insights into the inner workings of the passenger cruise industry and helped bridge the gap between theoretical knowledge and practical application.
