Beltangady: Truck seized for illegal transportation of scrap material

Beltangady, Dec 21: Commercial tax officials seized a truck found transporting illegal iron scrap without a valid permit.

The truck driver, Raju G, a resident of Chikkamagaluru, fled the scene.

The vehicle has been handed over to the Beltangady police department.

A case has been registered in connection with the incident by the commercial tax officials.
