Udupi, Dec 21: Congress leader Prasad Raj Kanchan has strongly condemned the offensive remarks made by BJP MLC C T Ravi against Udupi district in-charge minister and minister for Women and Child Welfare Lakshmi Hebbalkar.
Kanchan described C T Ravi's comments as a serious insult to women across the state, stating that such language dishonours women. He emphasised that C T Ravi is unfit to continue as an MLC and demanded his immediate expulsion from the Legislative Council.
Additionally, Kanchan mentioned that during Lakshmi Hebbalkar’s upcoming district visit, the strong support of thousands of women in the district will be visibly demonstrated.
