Mangaluru, Dec 21: Deepika Das, renowned for her role in the Nagini serial and as a former Bigg Boss contestant, visited the Kallapu Burdugoli Guliga Koragajja shrine on the outskirts of Mangaluru to pray for the success of her upcoming film, scheduled to release in January.

Speaking on the occasion, Deepika said, "My film ‘#Paaru Parvathi’ is set to hit the screens in January. I prayed at the shrine for its success. Mangaluru is known as the land of gods and spirits, and every visit here feels like receiving a special blessing. My next film, Chaukat, is rooted in Mangaluru and showcases Tulu Nadu's rich traditions, including Yakshagana and Kolata. It is expected to release in three months. Both films have strong female-centric storylines, where the narrative takes center stage, supported by the blessings of Koragajja."

She also expressed her happiness about her first visit to Kallapu Burdugoli, adding that she had previously visited the Koragajja shrine at Kuthar.

The event was attended by Vishwanath Nayak, president of the Kallapu Burdugoli Guliga Koragajja Trust, treasurer Naveen Kayangal, committee members Prashanth Kayangal, Santosh Toddala, Raghav Toddala, Yogesh Acharya, Vanitha Girish, Pramodini, Sundari, Shyamala, and Hashtag Paaru Parvathi film director Rohit Keerthi, among others.
