Mangaluru, Dec 22: The public turned out in large numbers ahead of Christmas and New Year for the day-long Wine and Cake Festival – Sip, Savour, and Celebrate, hosted by Rathna’s Wine Gate at Kadri Park on Sunday, December 22.

The festival, held from 10:30 am to 9:30 pm, marked its third edition this month following the resounding success of wine festivals organized over the previous two weekends.

This time, the event featured an exciting blend of wines, cakes, and traditional kuswar, attracting a steady flow of attendees throughout the day. Adding to the festive cheer were live music performances by Oak Sessions and Dale Rodricks, creating a vibrant atmosphere that made the weekend celebration unforgettable for Mangalureans as they geared up for the holiday season.

Officials deputy commissioner Mullai Muhilan, DCP Siddarth Goyal, assistant commissioner Harshvardhan and assistant deputy commissioner Dr Santhosh also visited the wine fest.
