Kasargod: Kayyar Christ the King Church hosts Christmas roadshow, tableau

Kasargod, Dec 23: A Christmas roadshow and tableau, led by Fr Vishal Monis, the parish priest of Kayyar Christ The King Church, was taken in a procession to various locations to spread the message of the birth of Jesus Christ.

The roadshow, which commenced from Paivalike, received warm welcomes at several stops. At the Paivalike programme, retired headmistress of Moodambail GULP School and state award-winning teacher, Ramabai M, along with social worker Azeez Kulai, graced the event as chief guests.

Other programs were held at Chippar, Pacchambala, and Kayyar, with Rajaram Ballal Chippar, secretary of the Cooperative Milk Producers’ Organization; Majid Pacchambala, member of the Mangalpady gram panchayat; and Aboobaker Moideen from Kokkejal Wafi College participating as chief guests, respectively.

Vice president of the Church Pastoral Committee Roshan D’Souza, Sr Jasmine, Sr Reena Serrao, Paivalike Gram Panchayat member Avinash Machado, Sandeep D'Almeida, and Gurkar of Kalayi St Lawrence Ward Bijoy Monteiro were among those present at various venues.

George Crasta Kokkejal compered the events. CKYM Kayyar, Holy Cross Club Jodukallu, Christ Club Kayyar, members of Fatima and Infant Jesus Wards, and Pacchambala Friends Club extended their cooperation in organizing the roadshow.
