Mangaluru: Festive cheer marks Christmas celebrations at St Agnes High School, Bendore

Mangaluru, Dec 23: The festival of Christmas was celebrated on December 23 at St Agnes High School with great enthusiasm and festive cheer.

A devout prayer service focused on the boxes of emotion. It was explained that each box symbolised different emotions such as joy, love, hope and sharing among students and everyone.

Rebecca of VIII B warmly welcomed everyone, paving the way for a delightful welcome dance that cheered the audience.

The heartwarming enacting of the nativity story was presented with a unique twist depicting the role of a blind boy and his donkey in helping Mother Mary during birth of Jesus, beautifully conveyed that physical limitations cannot hinder the spirit of kindness and faith.

Students performed a captivating medley dance that blended traditional Christmas songs with modern beats, followed by melodious Christmas carols which created a warm and festive atmosphere. Santa Clause made a grand entry which spread joy and laughter among the audience.

Sr Gloria AC headmistress of the school delivered a heartfelt message. Underscoring the significance of God’s unconditional love and appreciated the efforts of students of VIII B for putting up a beautiful programme.

The celebration concluded with vote of thanks by Shreyanka, Gavin and Jasvi compered the programme smoothly.

The celebration was thematically planned by class VIII B under the guidance of their class teacher.
