Cultural extravaganza at Karavali Utsava promises delightful festivities

Mangaluru, Dec 23: The much-awaited month-long Karavali Utsava was inaugurated at the Karavali Utsava Ground on December 22. A variety of cultural programmes and events have been planned at the venue, running till December 30, to entertain and engage the public.

The festival offers a mix of entertainment and cultural showcases, promising a delightful experience for Mangaluru residents and tourists alike. Daily programmes such as dance performances, drama, fusion music, and magic shows will take place from 6:30 PM, ensuring vibrant evenings throughout the event.

The month-long fest is expected to significantly boost tourism in Mangaluru. Large crowds, including families and children, are anticipated to attend the celebrations across various venues, highlighting the culture and traditions of Mangaluru.

Cultural Schedule at Karavali Utsava Ground, Lalbagh (All programmes start at 6:30 PM):

• Dec 22: TCR Band and Team
• Dec 23: Nrutyopasana Kala Academy, Puttur – Various Dance Forms
• Dec 24: Drama – Yerla Guarantee Atth by Devdas Kapikad’s Cha Parka Team
• Dec 25: Artists from Zee TV, Colors Kannada, Star Suvarna – Musical Performances
• Dec 26: Sur Swagar Lokesh Salian Band – Fusion Music Performance
• Dec 27: Ranjan Beaura and Team, Bengaluru – Performance by Melotree Fame Artist
• Dec 28: Nrutyankura Kala Thanda, Mangala Gangothri – Cultural Event and Children’s Band (Saregamapa Team)
• Dec 29: Kudroli Ganesh and Team – Magic Show
• Dec 30: Arehole Prathistana – Nandagokula Dance Performance

• Dec 28–29: Two-day Beach Festival at Tannirbhavi Beach

• Jan 4–5: Automobile and Dog Show at Kadri Park
• Jan 11–12: Yuva Utsava at Kadri Park – Promoting Youth Participation
• Jan 18–19: International Kite Festival at Tannirbhavi Beach

    I THINK 20 YEARS BACK KARAVALI UTSAVV STARTED IN MANGALORE. STILL I REMEMBER THOSE DAYS & THE FOOD STALLS THERE & ALSO ENTERTAINMENTS
