Beltangady: Christmas celebrated vibrantly at Holy Redeemer English Medium School

Beltangady, Dec 26: The joy of Christmas was meaningfully celebrated at Holy Redeemer English Medium School on December 24.

The festive vibe was vibrantly created by the students of class 1, 6 and 7 to spread the joy of season.

Fr Jason of Capuchin order of Dayalbagh, Ujire was the chief guest. Headmaster Fr Clifford Pinto and PTA vice-president Ramesh were present.

The programme began with a wonderful prayer dance. Class 1 students Niha, Sherwin and Swaliha welcomed the gathering with a cute gesture.

The significance of comman Christmas symbols like tree, star, candle, eateries, angel, crib, gift, cake were wonderfully expressed by the little ones of class 1.

Beautiful dances by the students added more charm to the celebration filling the air with joy. The birth of Jesus Christ was well displayed through a tableau.

The chief guest gave a message on what Christmas is. Headmaster appreciated the students and teachers for their efforts in making the event a fruitful one.

The grand surprise entry of Santa Claus mesmerised the students, who interacted with the kids and brought a smile on their face.

The dignitaries along with Santa cut the cake to share the sweetness of the celebration. Carols singing by the teachers added more cheer to the beautiful ambience of christmas.

Suja Fathima of class 6 proposed the vote of thanks. Sai Khushi and Jason of class 7 compered the programme. Teachers Renita Lasrado, Vinitha Moras, Jonita Korrea and Lavina Lobo were the programme coordinators.

Celebration meaningfully ended by singing school anthem and distributing cake and sweets to the students.
