Mumbai: Aaradhana Mahotsava of Pejawar Sree held

Mumbai, Jan 2: The fifth Aaradhana Mahotsava of Sri Yathikula Chakravarthy Sri Vishweshateertha Swamiji, the revered seer of Pejawar Math, was held on Thursday at the Sri Vishweshateertha auditorium of Madhwa Bhavana in Santacruz East, Mumbai. The event was conducted under the guidance of Pejawar Sree Vishwaprasannatheertha Swamiji.

The day began with spiritual activities such as Vishnu Sahasranama Archane and Parayana, Bhagavad Gita Parayana, Bhagavatha Parayana, and Chakrabda Mandalaradhane, accompanied by bhajans and keerthans performed by the Madhwesha Bhajana Mandali.

Dr Ramadasa Upadhyaya Renjala, chief manager of Sri Pejawar Math, reminisced about the life and contributions of Sri Vishweshateertha Swamiji, particularly his role in establishing the Poornaprajna Vidyapeetha. Govinda Bhat highlighted the Swamiji’s selfless life, Hari Bhat spoke about the Haridwar Yatra, and Parel Srinivas Bhat reflected on the Swamiji’s service during the five paryayas.

The event witnessed participation from Hari Bhat of the Pejawar Math Mumbai branch, Niranjan Gogte, Rama Vittala Kalluraya, B R Rao Kaleen of Gopalakrishna Trust, Dr Surendra Kumar Hegde, Kalathur Vishwanatha Shetty, and Shekhar J Salian, among many devotees. All attendees took part in the rituals and received prasada.
