Udupi: Man arrested for attempting to sell drugs, items worth Rs 3.25 lac seized

Udupi, Jan 5: City police have arrested Nagaraj (25), a resident of Uppoor, for attempting to sell prohibited narcotics, including MDMA and Charas.

Acting on a tip-off, the city police rushed to Beedinagudde under Shivalli village and apprehended Nagaraj.

During the operation, police seized 49.46 grams of MDMA valued at Rs 2.5 lac, 3.86 grams of Charas worth Rs 3,500, a mobile phone, and a scooter. The total value of the confiscated items is Rs 3.25 lac.

Further investigations are being conducted by the city police.
