Hyderabad, Jan 5: The Kanara Catholic Welfare Association (KCWA) hosted its first-ever "Jingle N Mingle" event in Hyderabad, marking a joyous celebration of Christmas that brought the community together in a heartwarming display of unity and cheer.

The day began with the Christmas tree decoration, led by the cultural committee, with families contributing unique ornaments symbolizing the collective spirit of the occasion. Capt Ashley Coelho’s heartfelt prayer set a reverent tone for the day, invoking gratitude and togetherness.

The event featured a host of engaging activities, including a melodious duet by Rohit Coelho and Anjana Minj, a Christmas quiz hosted by Richard Mendonce and Rachitha D'Souza, and interactive games like “Christmas Elves Help Santa Claus” and “Musical Arms.” A surprise performance by the executive committee delighted attendees, while a vibrant children’s dance performance spread joy among all present.

Carolers, led by Stany Mendonca and young Rikardo Fernandez, filled the air with harmonious melodies, inviting everyone to join in the festive singing. After a sumptuous festive lunch, the celebrations continued with a lively game of Tambola, an open mic session, and an energetic Baila dance that had everyone on their feet.

Prizes were awarded to winners of various activities, but the true reward was the shared memories and joyful experiences. The event concluded with a surprise karaoke session featuring guest Sharath and committee member Richard Mendonce, adding a touch of spontaneity to the day.

One of the organizers remarked, “Christmas is a time to cherish moments of joy and unity. It reminds us that we are stronger, happier, and brighter together as a community.”

The Jingle N Mingle event was a resounding success, strengthening community bonds and leaving lasting memories for all who attended.
