Mumbai, Jan 7: Actor Kajal Aggarwal has revealed her first look from the highly anticipated mythological drama Kannappa, which also stars Akshay Kumar and Prabhas. Sharing her transformation as Parvati Devi, Kajal took to Instagram to describe the role as a "dream" and expressed her excitement to begin 2025 on a "divine note."

In the poster, Kajal is seen in an elegant white saree, adorned with intricate, heavy jewelry. The tagline on the poster reads:

About Kannappa
Directed by Mukesh Kumar Singh, Kannappa is a multilingual mythological fantasy produced by Vishnu Manchu under AVA Entertainment and 24 Frames Factory. Alongside Kajal, the film boasts an ensemble cast, including Prabhas, Akshay Kumar, Mohanlal, Mohan Babu, R Sarathkumar, Brahmanandam, Madhoo, and Mukesh Rishi.
The story follows Kannappa, a legendary devotee of Lord Shiva, chronicling his transformation from a hunter to a warrior and eventually to a saint, earning him the title of Nayanar.
With music composed by Mani Sharma and Stephen Devassy and cinematography by Sheldon Chau, the film is slated to release in six languages—Telugu, Tamil, Malayalam, Kannada, Hindi, and English—on April 25, 2025.
From Cannes to Theatres
The first teaser of Kannappa was unveiled at the 2024 Cannes Film Festival, where it received rave reviews. Producer Vishnu Manchu shared on X:
