Mangalore, Dec 30: Through a complaint lodged with the Bunder police station here, a city-based loge has reported that a man committed suicide in a room of the lodge on the night of Wednesday December 28.
The person concerned has been identified as Pradeep (45) from a place in Kerala. After hiring a room in Reviera Lodge at Mission Street here, he committed suicide by hanging himself through a nylon rope from the hook of the fan in his room.
On the basis of the phone number the policemen recovered on the body of Pradeep, they could collect information that he was a native of Kerala. The policemen said that the relatives of Pradeep are expected to visit city on Thursday to claim his mortal remains.
