Daijiworld Media Network - Mangaluru

Mangaluru, Jan 9: The recent gunfire incident at a second-hand store in Vamanjoor has taken a surprising turn. City police commissioner Anupam Agarwal revealed that initial reports suggested Safwan accidentally shot himself while handling Bhaskar's gun.

However, investigations uncovered discrepancies in the statements provided.

CCTV footage confirmed that the shop owner, Badruddin, fired the gun, injuring Safwan. Badruddin, linked to multiple cases, allegedly tried to cover up the incident, blaming another person for the firearm ownership. The gun is suspected to have originated from Kerala.

Investigations are ongoing.
