Mangaluru, Jan 10: Dr Y Abdullah Kunhi, chancellor of Yenepoya University and Kanyana Sadashiv Shetty, renowned industrialist visited their alma mater on the January 9 and planted fruit tree saplings in the campus.
Fr Melwin J Pinto SJ, the rector of St Aloysius Institutions, Dr Praveen Martis SJ, the vice chancellor of St Aloysius Deemed to be University, Fr Clifford Sequeira SJ, the principal of St Aloysius PU College, Anil Kumar, the president of SACAA and Shilpa D’Souza, the IDO of St Aloysius Institutions were present.
The event was witnessed by the representatives of St Aloysius student volunteer group ‘Eco Warriors’ and Glavin Rodrigues, assistant professor of Zoology and chief coordinator of the Centre for Environmental Concerns.
