Moodbidri: Carmel School's Thanvi shines at International Karate championship

Moodbidri, Jan 11: Thanvi Krithi A S, a dynamic and dedicated student of grade 4 at Carmel School has showcased exemplary talent and sportsmanship at the RBKA KBI International Open Karate Championship 2025-26. The event organized by the Rainbow Budokan Karate Academy Karnataka was held on the January 4th and 5th at Byndoor Udupi.

Thanvi participated in two prestigious events:

1. Kata – A display of technical skills precision and discipline in karate.

2. Kumite – A combat-based event requiring strategic techniques and physical agility.

Her participation in these categories highlights her relentless commitment to the sport and her growing expertise in karate. This achievement is a testament to her hard work perseverance and the guidance provided by her trainers and mentors.

The school management, Sr Maria Gracilda A C the principal and all at Carmel School Moodbidri is immensely proud of Thanvi Krithi A S for her remarkable accomplishment.
