New Delhi, Jan 13: The much-anticipated Royal Enfield Himalayan 750 has been spotted undergoing testing in India, following earlier sightings in Europe. The latest images reveal fresh design details, drawing clear inspiration from the Himalayan 450, making it a highly awaited addition to the brand's lineup.
The Himalayan 750 retains a rugged adventure look, with a bulky fuel tank, a sleek tail section, a round LED headlight with a tall fairing, and integrated turn signals with the tail lamp. Its upright riding position and upswept exhaust are designed to make off-road navigation more efficient, positioning it as a capable touring machine.
In terms of features, the Himalayan 750 is expected to be equipped with Showa USD forks, adjustable for precision handling, a monoshock rear suspension, wire-spoke wheels, and dual disc brakes with a dual rotor setup in the front. The motorcycle is likely to include advanced features like dual-channel ABS, traction control, and multiple riding modes.
The 750cc twin-cylinder engine is expected to produce over 50bhp and will be paired with a six-speed gearbox. Although Royal Enfield has not yet revealed the exact engine specifications, it is anticipated that the same engine will power other upcoming models, including the Interceptor 750.
Once launched, the Himalayan 750 will face little direct competition in its segment, especially if Royal Enfield gets the pricing right. With its blend of adventure-ready features, the Himalayan 750 could become a game changer in both the Indian and global markets.
