Mumbai, Jan 3: So far, all that we got of the Indo-Canadian adult film actress Sunny Leone was at Bigg Boss 5. Now that Sunny has been evicted from the house, in a recent interview, she speaks of having no regrets whatsoever with her choice of profession.
Since the adult film industry in India is still a taboo, it was quite expected that Sunny would be judged by her fellow inmates at Bigg Boss’s house. However, when she revealed her true identity to them, they in fact, took it in pretty well.
Sunny said, “When I went to inside the house I concentrated on giving them a sense of who I was as a person, and not of what I did as a career. That was tough. It was very important for them to come to terms with my personality before I revealed my true identity.” Speaking about their reaction, she added, “They were surprisingly okay with it. That was absolutely a pleasant surprise. If anyone had issues with what I did, I'd have known.” And was Sunny embarrassed about her profession? Definitely not! Sunny says, “I've been doing adult porn for ten years. I've met all sorts of people. Those who like me, those who dislike me for what I am and what I do, those who hate or appreciate my choice of profession. I wasn't really bothered with the reactions I'd get in Bigg Boss.”
Also, it is learnt that film maker Mahesh Bhatt, who had been keeping a track on Sunny Leone’s career for sometime, has expressed his desire to work with her in his upcoming movie. Speaking about the same, Sunny said, “I'd love to work with Mahesh Bhatt. When he came into the house it was the first time I could speak freely on the show. He knew who I was. He knew my background. Mr. Bhatt and his daughter had been following my career for quite some time.”
And finally, speaking about her experience in Bigg Boss’s house, Sunny termed it as a “learning experience”. Even though language was a barrier, she said that she had made efforts to understand and speak in Hindi.
