Mangalore, Jan 3: The annual feast of Mother of God parish, Shaktinagar, was held on Sunday January 1.
Fr Antony George Pinto, professor of St Joseph Seminary, Jeppu, was the main celebrant of the festal Holy Mass.
City deanery vicar and Cordel parish priest Fr Valerian Pinto, Canara Communications Centre director Fr Vijay Victor Lobo, Bondel parish priest Fr Andrew D'Souza, Bajjodi Pastoral Institute assistant director Fr Vijay Machado, Shaktinagar parish priest Fr Walter D'Souza, and other clergies participated in the festal Holy Mass along with Fr Antony George Pinto.
Fr Pinto distributed the blessed candles to the donors of the annual feast and delivered a meaningful homily.
Parishioners and faithful from neighbouring parishes attended the Holy Mass in large numbers.
