Mangaluru, Jan 18: Mount Carmel Central School, organised a seminar for its staff in association with COE, CBSE Bengaluru region on the "Use of Artificial Intelligence in Classrooms" on January 17. The event aimed to explore the potential of Artificial Intelligence (AI) in enhancing teaching-learning experiences.
The resource persons, Bhujanga Shetty, principal of Lakshmi Janardhan International School, Belman and Mansur Ali, senior coordinator of Podar International School, Udupi provided insights into the topic.
The day began with a prayer invoking God’s blessings. Tr Helen Menezes welcomed the gathering and set the tone for the informative session highlighting that the future is not about the teacher against AI but teacher with AI.
A warm welcome was extended to the resource persons, with principal Sr Melissa AC and vice-principal Sr Teena AC presenting a bouquet to the resource persons. The seminar was inaugurated by lighting the lamp by the dignitaries.
The seminar focused on exploring the integration of AI in educational settings, aiming to make learning more interactive, personalized, and effective.
The event served as a valuable platform for educators to gain insights into the applications of AI in classrooms, fostering a deeper understanding of its potential to transform teaching and learning practices to equip them to cater to the Generation Beta.
Tr Priyanka delivered the vote of thanks and Sr Teena presented a memento to the resource persons as a gesture of gratitude.
The session concluded with an assessment and feedback from the teachers. Tr Zanet, smoothly anchored the programme, ensuring it was seamless and engaging throughout.
