Mangaluru, Jan 19: The valedictory ceremony of the National Service Scheme (NSS) special camp organised by Milagres College, Mangaluru, was held at the grant-in-aid Parochial Higher Primary School, Bajpe.
Fr Vincent D’Souza, director of Kripa Sadhana Minor Seminary, delivered the keynote address, emphasising the NSS’s role in instilling a sense of service among students. The event was presided over by Dr Michael Santhumayor, principal of Milagres College, and attended by distinguished guests, including Diana Rodrigues, headmistress of Parochial Higher Primary School; Alwyn Noronha, headmaster of St Joseph High School; and Uday Fernandes, principal of Milagres Central School.
NSS secretary Anusha Hegde welcomed the gathering, while NSS programme officer Joel Marvin Mascarenhas expressed gratitude in his vote of thanks.
The programme was compeered by NSS joint secretary Tensil, marking the culmination of a week-long camp focused on service and community engagement.
