Mangaluru, Jan 25: St Aloysius Gonzaga School organized Talent Hunt competitions for students from kindergarten to class XII. Students were given the opportunity to participate in one competition during the first term of the academic year 2024-25. The culmination event was held on January 16, which included a prize distribution ceremony and the best performances from some of the events.
Mohan Raj, a multitalented lecturer of St Aloysius PU College, principal Fr Melwyn Anil Lobo SJ, and vice principal Laurel D'Souza graced the occasion of the prize distribution ceremony for classes VI to XII. Mohan Raj emphasized that talent is what makes a person memorable, while principal Fr Melwyn Anil Lobo motivated students to actively engage in such events.
The finale for kindergarten to class V was graced by ‘Tuluvasiri’ Advika Shetty, a versatile performer and a student of St Aloysius College. She addressed the students and encouraged them to nurture their talents through hardwork.
Winners in each category were awarded trophies and certificates. The programme was coordinated by Shilpa Ballal and Tanuja Domber.
The event inspired students to explore their potential and pursue their passions with enthusiasm.
