Beltangady: Republic Day celebrated at Holy Redeemer English Medium School

Beltangady, Jan 27: The 76th Republic Day was celebrated with patriotic fervor at Holy Redeemer English Medium School on January 26.

The program began with the singing of the national song Vande Mataram. Rishel D'Souza of class 8 welcomed the gathering.

Br Aldrick D'souza of the Carmelite order from Ashadeep Seminary, Madanthyar, was the chief guest. Headmaster fr clifford pinto and pta vice president ramesh were present.

School pupil leader Vaishnavi invited the chief guest to hoist the national flag. Everyone saluted the tricolour while singing the national anthem.

Sanju of class 8 narrated the significance of Republic Day, while assistant school pupil leader Alston D'Silva led the pledge, reflecting the essence of the celebration.

The chief guest addressed the students, emphasizing the importance of adhering to rules and regulations.

Rishel D'Souza of class 8 compered the program.

Students were trained by teachers Shrilatha, Anitha, and Lorna Lobo. The program concluded with the distribution of sweets.

The school dance troupe performed a vibrant patriotic dance at the Taluk Republic Day celebration held at the Belthangady Taluk office.
