Srinivas Pharmacy College Valachil organises dental camp

Mangaluru, Jan 30: “For healthy gums and teeth the oral hygenity is an essential requirement. So the regular checkups and review is required to keep gums and teeth in healthy condition," said chief guest Dr Sandeep J, assistant professor, department of public health dentistry, Srinivas Institute of Dental Sciences, Mukka, Surathkal said during the dental health camp organized by NSS Unit of Srinivas College of Pharmacy, Valachil, and Indian Pharmaceutical Association, Dakshina Kannada district, local branch, Mangaluru in association with & Srinivas Institute of Dental Sciences, Mukka, Surathkal on January 29 at Srinivas College of Pharmacy, Valachil.

Dental intern’s Dr Subramanya, Dr Shreelaxmi, Dr Shradha presented on oral hygiene and its maintenance and introduced different departments related to dental disease was elaborately explained to the students.

On this occasion Dr AR Shabaraya, president, Indian Pharmaceutical Association, Dakshina Kannada district, local branch and principal, Srinivas College of Pharmacy in his presidential remarks advised the students to make the best use of this Dental camp.

Dr Viresh K Chandur, professor, SCP welcomed the gathering, Dr EVS Subrahmanyam, vice president, Indian Pharmaceutical Association, DK district Local branch and professor, Srinivas College of Pharmacy, Ashoka Shenoy, Gopikrishna U V & Vaishnavi T, NSS coordinators were present during the programme. Vaishvi & Himasvi of PharmD students anchored the programme. NSS coordinator, Dr Shripathy D proposed vote of thanks.
