Mangalore, Jan 8: On second day of 'Physio Week 2012' Physio Treasure Hunt was held in the premises of Vikas College of Physiotherapy on Sunday January 8 at 9.30am.
The Physio treasure hunt is a game organized for the students of physiotherapy in which they have to find the treasure which is hidden within Mangalore by the organizing committee.
C Mallikarjuna regional transport officer inaugurated the event. He appreciated the steps taken to encourage the students to explore the city. Further he added that programmes like this gives them a chance to break monotony and thrill themselves in search of treasure.
The event was presided by Ln J K Rao, district goveronor Lions Club, Mangalore. He wished luck to all the participants and appealed all the youth to follow all the traffic rules strictly.
The guests of honour for the event were Dr Natrajan, principal, Vikas College of Physiotherapy and Dr Bharath, principal, City College of Physiotherapy.
50 biker boys and girls fulfilling the prerequisite for the hunt lasting 120 minutes were well instructed and then flagged off by C Mallikarjuna.
