Bengaluru Airport revises Airspace closure timings for Aero India Show 2025

Bengaluru, Feb 2: Kempegowda International Airport (KIA) has issued an advisory announcing revised airspace closure timings from February 5 to 14 to facilitate the smooth conduct of the Aero India Show 2025.

The temporary restrictions are aimed at ensuring the safety of aerial displays and flight operations during the event.

According to a press release issued by KIA, the airspace will be closed at specific intervals on the following dates:

• February 5, 6, and 8: From 9:00 am to 12:00 pm and 3:00 pm to 4:30 pm.

• February 7 and 9: From 9:00 am to 11:00 am. Additionally, on February 7, the airspace will be closed again from 3:00 pm to 4:30 pm.

• February 10: From 9:00 am to 11:30 am and 2:30 pm to 3:30 pm.

• February 11 and 12: From 12:00 pm to 2:30 pm.

• February 13 and 14: From 9:30 am to 12:00 pm and 2:30 pm to 5:00 pm.

KIA has advised passengers to check with their respective airlines for any changes to flight schedules during this period, as delays or rescheduling are expected due to the airspace restrictions.

The Aero India Show 2025 will take place from February 5 to 14 at the Air Force Station, Yelahanka in Bengaluru. The biennial event is one of Asia's premier aerospace exhibitions, featuring aerial displays, defense equipment showcases, and participation from global aviation leaders.
